Transforming Power of God

This is a newly revised edition of Mrs. Anne S. White’s first book. Her call to Japan to do missionary work came one and a half years before she arrived in Tokyo and the door to that teaching was opened by the Lord. She began her teaching to convey the truths of Christian faith to her students at the leading non-Christian Woman’s University in Tokyo where she was allowed to teach the Bible as part of her teaching of full credit English courses to Junior and Senior students.

The purpose of the chapters is two-fold:
a. to convey the Gospel to those who were not raised in society which presumed Christian truth and values; and
b. to indicate the path to a vigorous and effective life – which Anne sets forth with equal clarity. This welcome revision brings timeless truth into the heart of the contemporary situation in America.
